Vashini has a legal foundation in property law and lease disputes having litigated overseas in

property, commercial, public law, criminal and other areas of civil law. Vashini is admitted as a

lawyer in England, Mauritius and New Zealand.

Vashini has focused primarily on property law and conveyancing throughout her career in New

Zealand. Vashini became a co-director of Victorian Lawyers Limited in the year 2022. Vashini had the

privilege of appearing and winning interesting lease related proceedings in the courts of New

Zealand.

Vashini is comfortable conversing in French, Creole and English and understands basic Indian

languages. Coming from an enriching intercultural country, Vashini prides herself in relating well

with people of different ethnic background and in establishing long standing relationships with her

clients.

Vashini is the holder of a Bachelor’s Hons degree in law from the University of London, BA with

distinction in Social Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Bar Vocational Course from Cardiff University,

UK, Masters Honours degree from University of Waikato. Vashini was awarded a scholarship by the

MBIE, New Zealand and Government of India to pursue two of her degrees and has taught University

of London students for several years.
