About Joseph Mavumkal

Joseph brings a rare combination of advanced legal training and commercial expertise to his practice.

He first completed a Bachelor of Business and Information Management (BBIM) from the University of Auckland, double majoring in Information Managementand Marketing. After years of business experience, he pursued his long-standing passion for law, completing his LLB, being admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, and later completing his Master of Laws (LLM), both at the University of Auckland.

His Master’s thesis focused on family law and how men navigate the family justice system, giving him a deep and research-based understanding of parenting disputes, protection orders and the structural realities clients face in high-conflict matters.
